Differentiated Learning

I created this WebQuest to reach all students by carefully designing differentiated instructions that cover all levels of Bloom Taxonomy as this project enables students to comprehend, apply, analyze, synthesize, analyze, evaluate, and create their responses.

Task 1 involved read-aloud, a discussion of the main points of the story, and writing a written report. For visually impaired students, read aloud is a perfect activity because it allows them to hear the story, develops comprehension, and aid students in making a connection. A small group discussion is also a good activity for students with a cognitive disability and even English Language Learners (ELLs) as it allows them to ask questions, get more clarification, and process information far better than in a structured, large group discussion.

Activities in Tasks 2 and 3 in this WebQuest such as conducting research on how a windmill works and creating a model of a windmill are suited for all students, those with hearing impairment, and students who are tactile or learn by doing it.
